There can’t be many walks that span two countries but the Berwickshire Coastal Path, which journeys from the Northumbrian town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in England and crosses the border into Scotland before continuing all the way to Cockburnspath, is one such route. The trail is spectacular, hugging great cliffs that plunge vertically into the sea, travelling along gorgeous stretches of sand and passing through attractive and historic towns and villages, for much of its 29 miles.
