HUNTING NOSTALGIA

I ENJOYED reading about the Pau hunt (19 March) and have located a couple of photos, taken between 1910 and 1940, when the pack was owned and hunted by American Mr Frederick Prince.

My late husband David’s grandfather, Harry Nicholson, was huntsman/whipper-in during this time, while David’s father, Frenchie, was there as a boy whipping-in on occasions.
