SWEET AND SOUR-GLAZED PORK CHOPS WITH FLAKED ALMONDS AND CHARGRILLED BEANS
Serves 4 EASY 30 mins
WHAT YOU NEED SWEET AND SOUR GLAZE
120ml Balsamic vinegar
100g (¼ cup) honey
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried rosemary
¼ tsp dried chilli flakes (optional)
PORK CHOPS
50g almond flakes
4 pork chops salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste canola oil, to fry butter, to fry
350g green beans, blanched
HOW TO DO IT
1 For the sweet and sour glaze, combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to the boil and cook until slightly thickened, 10 minutes. Season to taste. Set aside until needed.
2 For the pork chops, place a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the almond flakes and toast until golden brown, about 5 – 8
