‘My e-tailer brings a special part of Turkey to SA’
MADELEINE HUGO lives in Paarl with her husband Schalk and their daughter. She founded The Cotton Company, an online store that imports and sells authentic Turkish textile products, such as scarves, towels, and throws.
* THE IDEA I worked in SA’s wine industry for a few years, handling sales and distribution, before Schalk and I moved to Turkey in 2013, where I took over marketing for a local wine company.
