One New Change

Opened a decade ago, this shopping centre, designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, is often bustling with lunching workers. While the interior is stylish with its brown glass walls, it is the public roof terrace that provides Nouvel’s crowning glory, largely thanks to the building next door: St Paul’s Cathedral. The sixth-floor terrace gives visitors an unexpectedly close look at Sir Christopher Wren’s iconic dome, as well as a slice of the London skyline beyond.
