Yoga nidra is a meditative practice for deep relaxation and healing that dates back to 700 BCE and is the perfect first step if you would like to learn to successfully meditate. Even if your meditation game is on point, yoga nidra is hugely beneficial – physically, emotionally and mentally.

The practice is becoming increasingly popular, and is formally, researchers found yoga nidra improved blood pressure and hormone irregularities in women. Other research from Ohio University noted regular yoga nidra led to a significant decrease in the stress hormone cortisol.
