What am I bid?

NJOYED your I article on regional auction houses (‘) and thought your readers might be interested in my recent first-time experience. When browsing a friend’s Instagram account of a preview at Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne, Somerset, I saw this picture () propped on a desk in the background. Something about it immediately appealed to me and I could make out the lot number, so I set up anby T. Wo…(?) at an address in Crewe—from the handwriting and mount, I’d say it was 1950s or 1960s. I wonder if any of your readers can help to identify it or the painter?
