Studio DMI

Interviewee Luca Pretolesi Contact studiodmi.com

It’s in Luca Pretolesi’s Las Vegas studio that he’s added the magic touch to tracks by Diplo, David Guetta, Major Lazer, Nicki Minaj and other global artists.

MusicTech Tell us more about Studio DMI.

Luca Pretolesi Studio DMI is an expansive space for mixing and mastering. It’s five minutes west of the Las Vegas Strip and opened in May 2019. Previously, there was also a Studio DMI in the basement of The Wynn Hotel and Casino.

MT How important has location been to your success?

LP It’s been great for connecting with touring artists, residencies and relationship-building opportunities. The city is the entertainment capital of the world but the production side is limited. We were probably the first to be able to lend a professional hand in that area.

MT What have you been able to do in the new space that you couldn’t do before?
