Test fleet: Honda Monkey 125

It’s close to a year since I first rode the re-imagined Monkey. While out on the launch of Honda’s new Forza scooters down in the South of France, we were given the chance to take the diminutive 125cc for a quick beachside blast – and within minutes of settling on to its saddle, I was enamoured.

That’s what persuaded me to put my name in the hat and try and get my hands on one for a long-term test. Honda happily complied – and so, for the last nine months, I’ve spent every day
