Materials
• 2.5m (2¾yd) cream tone-on-tone print fabric (background)
• 2m (2¼yd) large-scale floral print fabric (Border 10 and binding)
• 1m (1⅛yd) dark green leaf print fabric (Borders 1, 7 and 9 and appliqué)
• 30cm (⅜yd) mid-green tone-on-tone print fabric (Border 1, Framed Windmill blocks and appliqué)
• 60cm (¾yd) purple print fabric (Borders 3–5)
• 50cm (⅝yd) dark cream print fabric (Borders 3 and 5)
• 30cm (⅜yd) raspberry print fabric (centre block appliqué)
• 30cm (⅜yd) cheddar print fabric (centre block appliqué)
• 30cm (⅜yd) dark pink tone-on-tone print fabric (small appliqué blocks)
• 30cm (⅜yd) light rust print fabric (small appliqué blocks)
• 40cm (½yd) pale green print fabric (Border 8 and Framed Windmill blocks)
• 20cm (¼yd) rust print fabric (small appliqué blocks)
• 20cm (¼yd) each of three tone-on-tone medium pink fabrics (Framed Windmill blocks and small appliqué blocks)

Cutting
From the cream tone-on-tone print fabric, cut:
• one square, 25in (centre square)• eight squares, 4¾in. Cut each square twice across the diagonal to yield 32 quarter-square triangles (Framed Windmill blocks)• two strips, 10in x width of fabric. Cross cut them to yield eight squares, 10in (small appliqué blocks)• 10 strips, 2¼in x width of fabric. Trim four of them to yield two strips, 2¼in x 30½in and two strips, 2¼in x 27in (Border 2). Put the• eight strips, 1½in x width of fabric. Cross cut them to yield 16 strips, 1½in x 9½in and 16 strips, 1½in x 7½in (Framed Windmill blocks)• another five strips, 1½in x width of fabric (pieced sashing strips in Border 4)
