In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions. There may be nothing here, but if there’s anything you don’t recognize, uncheck it to see if that solves the problem; you can then click Uninstall to remove it. Other browsers have their own plugin options so you’ll need to check online for how to go about managing those.
