Most of his film titles started with the letter A. He began his innings as a producer with (1961) and never looked back. But life was never easy for J Om Prakash. Like a million others, the Partition disrupted his life in Lahore. He came, under his banner Filmyug. The film proved to be a silver jubilee hit. Besides Rajendra Kumar, he had cordial relations with most top actors like Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Jeetendra and Sanjeev Kumar as well. It’s believed he never drafted formal agreements with any star rather worked with them purely on trust. It’s to his credit that no one ever betrayed that.
