METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART, NEW YORK SEPTEMBER 9 TO JANUARY 12, 2020

he Met will be showcasing an installation on its historic Fifth Avenue facade for the first time:created by Kenyan-American artist Wangechi Mutu specially for the site. The works, crafted from bronze and organic materials, and depicting modern and classical mythological figures, is the first of a new commission, which will see one artist transform the museum’s exterior each year.
