distant relative of mine was hung for stealing a horse. The year before the trap door opened beneath his feet, he was the mayor of Shrewsbury, England. That was in the 1500s. The love of horses is in my family’s DNA. My grandfather made a living training horses and hounds for the gentry’s fox hunts.
