Nothing’s nicer than fresh bread on a chilly morning and the residents of Evanston, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, fell in love when they spotted Ellen King and her 3 1/2-year-old son, Asher, delivering $6 loaves by bike seven years ago. Soon, 100 customers wanted their Cheddar Bread (“like a perfect grilled cheese,” King says) and Picholine Olive Loaf. The Underground Bread Club delivered on Fridays.
