LOST TO THE WORLD

Last June, I was flying one-way on Air France flight AF1180 from Paris (CDG) to Heathrow (LHR). I was connecting to a flight on a separate ticket (and with a different alliance) to Hangzhou. When I landed at Heathrow, I was informed that my bag was lost and Air France didn’t know where it was. As this was a Saturday and I was returning to the UK the following week, I said that if they could deliver it to Hangzhou by Thursday that would be fine, otherwise send it to my London address. As I was moving a lot of my stuff to Hangzhou due to my girlfriend living there, this bag had everything in it.

The lady said “no problem”, and informed me that they could route it to Hangzhou via Guangzhou with China Southern, deliver it
