Hot Springs Flair

As the Arkansas city's name suggests, hot springs are the major natural resource of this picturesque burg in the Ouachita Mountains. Tour Bathhouse Row, a series of architecturally impressive bathhouses built along what is now Hot Springs National Park. Garvan Woodland Gardens (opposite) features 210 acres of waterfalls, flowers, an exquisite chapel, and peaceful trails, while historic downtown boasts a variety of fashion boutiques, specialty stores, and art galleries. From barbecue and bakeries to Latin American fare and fine dining, Hot Springs is a culinary epicenter. For authentic Mexican dishes, try Taco Mama (right). At Kollective Coffee + Tea (below right), everything is organic and tyruly delicious. And don't miss the queen of breakfast: The Pancake Shop
