TO HAVE AND TO HOLD

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that I absolutely love magazines. It all started from when I started earning pocket money and, as with a great many of my vintage growing up in the UK, purchases were driven by hobbies.

Just in my case there were (and still are) multiple hobbies and, in those days, quite a number of magazines were weeklies… and to feed the car passion, (which is still published every Tuesday) and . These get what get… that we pursue these interests because they make us feel good, fulfilled and part of a community of like-minded people who don’t think you’re a bit mad because you have a particular fascination for 1960s Fiats (guilty as charged m’lud) or anything else that’s not mainstream.
