Heated propagators and mats

A SMALL heated propagator or warming mat can make a huge difference to your success with seeds and cuttings in the cold early months of the year. Germination is quicker and more uniform, and growingon more consistent in the slightly higher temperatures. It means you can easily grow bedding plants from seed in time for summer flowering and raise slower-growing veg like onions, tomatoes and chillies for earlier and longer cropping.
