On March 4, Delhi University student Tarini Mohan uploaded a video of herself and her friends on Tik Tok. The 19-year-old is seen greeting her friends, but there are no handshakes, hugs or kisses. With masks covering their noses and mouths, the girls are pressing on each other’s feet by way of greeting. The video was uploaded in response to the then 21 confirmed cases of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in India. Seven new cases have been confirmed since then. It is the ‘new normal’, wrote Mohan.
