A recent article on the importance of insects caught my attention. One of the insects discussed was the dung beetle. Dung beetles feed partly or exclusively on feces (dung). A dung beetle can bury dung 250 times heavier than itself in one night. Many dung beetles, known as rollers, roll dung into round balls, which are used as a food source and breeding chambers.
