PRIDE OF THE CLYDE GLASGOW’S RIVERSIDE TRANSPORT MUSEUM
Described as ‘Glasgow’s Guggenheim’ when it first opened its doors in June 2011, Riverside was the culmination of a nine-year project costing £74 million. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Zaha Hadid, the transport museum has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Scotland.
Glasgow is no stranger to commercial vehicles. Riverside is situated close to the city centre, on the north bank of the River Clyde just a short distance from the former Albion factory at Scotstoun.
