Lincolns ON THE HUDSON

The Mid-Atlantic Region Chapter of the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club (LCOC) threw itself a most memorable 60th birthday party by hosting the club’s Sept. 19-22, 2019, Eastern National Meet. The event was held in the Hudson River Valley linking New York City to the Empire State’s capital at Albany.

The prospect of re-uniting with old friends and the cars themselves no doubt played their traditional role in attracting attendees from points as far afield as California, Florida, Maine, Minnesota, Utah, Tennessee and Washington State. Meet co-host Linda Clarke further asserted “the River is key” to the region’s history, charms and economic vibrancy, a point emphasized from the get-go by the all-day driving tour that kicked off the affair on Thursday, Sept. 19.
