THE LOHR VPX 5000

Responding to the demand for light, versatile vehicles that could be equipped with a variety of weapon systems for the modern battlefield, the Strasbourg-based company LOHR unveiled the VPX 5000 at the 1981 SATORY Defence Exhibition in France. At the time, it attracted a great deal of interest, but by the mid-1990s, LOHR had only produced ten prototype vehicles.
