    Falcon sales are collapsing in the lead-up to the close of local production at the end of next year. The new Europeandesigned and -built Mondeo is, effectively, Ford Australia’s new flagship family and fleet car.

    There are three spec levels (Ambiente, Trend, Titanium), available in hatch or wagon, with a choice of two turbo petrol engines and a turbodiesel.

    Ambiente starts at $32,790 for the 149kW/345Nm 2.0-litre turbopetrol/six-speed auto
