For most skateboarders approaching 30, the years Whether you spin it positively as restraint or accept it as lassitude, skateboarding is slowly destroying us all. At the age of 29, Ben Weir shows no such scars. Ben skates all day, as hard as he can, like a 14-year-old kid on school holidays. Ben doesn’t care where he goes as long as he has his board under his feet. He’ll happily float about at a skatepark all day on a weekend while his friends grow increasingly paranoid about missed street-skating opportunities, or he’ll roll around a gravelly parking lot doing switch 360 flips while they debate what spot to go to next.
