Day One. Cape Reinga
Riding at 7am. Rode Ninety Mile Beach into a headwind for nine hours. Painful. To get to the beach we rode through and along a sandy creek, so at least we had sand jammed in all the delicate parts of our bikes.
Day Two and Three. Ahipara to Paparoa
