It was late April and we only had two short nights away due to work commitments. After a feed, we stoked up the potbelly fire and climbed onto our bunks listening to the roar of the wind outside. Sleep didn’t come easy that night as I lay awake planning the next day’s hunt and the challenge the wind would present.
