We went on a trip down memory lane during the grand 81st birthday celebration of Louie Ablaza, the honorary consul of Zambia, when the Ablazas unveiled their private museum at Hacienda Amelia, their sprawling hideaway in Alfonso, Cavite. Dubbed as their "happy place", the imposing two-story edifice holds many of their prized possessions and mementos with rich and beautiful stories that are meant to be told and shared with people who became part of their lives.
The ground floor of the museum is occupied by Consul Louie's collection of thirty classic cars, each with its own story to tell. The second level houses two separate showrooms. One area
