As the mercury drops below zero across the Blue Mountains, spare a thought for Brooklyn, a young local who suffers a rare and debilitating type of arthritis that’s especially painful in the cold.
Although you would never know from looking at the young aspiring dancer, poor Brooklyn suffers from severe pain in her hands, wrists, knees, ankles, feet, shoulders, neck and hips. Even worse, doctors have told her she will never be free from her condition as long as she lives.
