Since Archery GB produced their 2017 ‘A guide to field archery courses’ there has been much debate over the length and width of overshoot zones for field archery. Archery GB recommends that the furthest boundary of the overshoot zone extends 102 metres behind a 60 metre target and never be less than 140 metres from shooting peg to boundary when using a release aid on flat ground.
