GOLDMINE: What is the rarest Beatles 45 that you own, and why?
The promotional single is (known as the “Anna/Ask Me Why” Vee Jay Special DJ No. 8) is the rarest Beatles 45 that I own. It is the absolute rarest American Beatles 45 that exists on this planet. There are only six confirmed copies that exist! Yes, I know that there are some label variations that exist where there are approximately the same be remotely close at all to the promotional “Anna” single which is the Queen of all American Beatles 45s! Buy her at any price! However, it is nice to own a rare Beatles record even if it is a very rare label variation.
