Australia Spelling Error On Bank Note

Australia’s current $50 bank note has joined a small but unusual group of coins and bank notes—there is a misspelled word on the note.

The polymer substrate note issued on Oct. 18, 2018 depicts a vignette of Alan ‘Chirpy’ Campbell on one side, and a vignette of Edith Cowan on the other. Cowan also appears on the back of an earlier $50 note issued
