Tropezian Lifestyle
Saint-Tropez has, and always will be, linked to my childhood memories. There were years when I spent, this era is long gone, but organising this photo shoot in the place I call home was the perfect chance to get reacquainted – especially as we visited off-season, which, according to locals is the best period. Neither the weather nor our work prevented us from enjoying an exquisite lunch at Club 55 in the Hampton-esque town. We walked in the village until sunset before stopping for a drink at the legendary Byblos Hotel prior to heading for dinner at Sénéquier. Driving through the village in a VW Camper; listening to my Dad (Chronopassion’s Laurent Picciotto) playing the guitar in his studio from across the garden, while we all sipped rose wine in the vineyard; and dining at 10.30 p.m. under the red canvas roof of a local restaurant while listening to the sound of pouring rain and the clattering hulls of the sailing ships in the harbour. This was a genuine Tropezian escapade, real and authentic.
