LUNCHBOX TIPS
• Freeze a small bottle of water to keep the rest of the lunchbox cool – it should defrost by lunchtime, ready for drinking.
• A mini thermos or insulated jar is a great way to keep all kinds of soups and stews warm through the colder months, and other food, such as salads, cool during the hotter months.
• Adapt recipes to suit individual tastes, making sure to include protein, low GI carbohydrates (such as whole grains and pasta), calcium and enough fruit and veg to help reach your 7-a-day.
