JBL LINK PORTABLE & MUSIC

Regular readers will have seen us reviewing a chain of JBL Link units since this range of voice-controlled speakers first arrived — indeed several have won Sound+Image awards for their combination of sound quality and value at the price. The Link range has included sizeable table-top speakers, and the screen-equipped Link View, but perhaps the most successful have been the Link 10 and Link 20, smaller speakers which take the successful formula of JBL’s Flip Bluetooth speaker (an extraordinary 20 million of those sold to date) and add Wi-Fi, enabling Google Assistant and Chromecast inside, in addition to Bluetooth. Further still, they are waterproofed to IPX7, which means immersion (in fresh water) to a metre depth for up to 30 minutes.
