A farm not far from town

Is Bloemfontein a city or a town? Nobody quite agrees on this issue, it seems. Here in the Platteland office we’ve always labelled it as concrete jungle – it is, after all, home to the Supreme Court of Appeal – but we’ve also come to realise that the Free State’s main hub can be just as sleepy as the Mother City.
