The yellowwood has come a long way

The true yellowwood () is South Africa’s national tree, but we’re lucky enough also to have the Breede River yellowwood (), Outeniqua yellowwood () and Henkel’s yellowwood (). Yellowwood trees are widely distributed, from Table Mountain in the Western Cape to the Southern and Eastern Cape coastlines, in the ravines of the Drakensberg, and on the Soutpansberg and Blouberg ranges in Limpopo.
