SAAACA Gauteng Arms Collectors Fair
The Southern Africa Arms and Ammunition Collectors Association (SAAACA), Gauteng, will be holding their 24th Annual Arms Collectors Fair at the Ditsong National Museum of Military History in Saxonwold on 3 and 4 August 2019.
The theme for the fair is Weapons and Wheels, and such will be demonstrated in the members’ exhibits, re-enactments and military vehicles on show. There will also be numerous trade tables, interesting lectures on related subjects, and a Classic Arms auction of arms and militaria. The auction is scheduled for Saturday 3rd with viewing of items from 09:00 and the auction starting at about 12:00. Interested readers should confirm exact times with SAAACA. Parking will be available and refreshments will be on sale.
SAAACA was established in 1994 and is the oldest recognized and accredited collectors’ association. SAAACA promotes the collection, study, restoration, conservation and responsible use of collectable and heritage firearms, ammunition and related items. SAAACA is affiliated to the National Arms and Ammunition Collectors Confederation of South Africa (NAACCSA). Collectors focus on specific fields of interest, with one or more themes within a given field of interest.
