Facing a Charge

IT’S IFE-CHANGING and unforgettable experience, facing a charge from one Africa’s big six. On numerous occasions, due to the nature of my work as a ranger and field-guide, I have had to face ck (warning) and serious full-blown charges from elephant, lion, white a black rhino, hippo and buffalo. Fortunately, I survived all unscathed. Unfortunately, I was obliged to dispatch several of these animals in order to save myself and those who were with me at the time. Although I have encountered leopard many times while on foot, I have never been charged by one, hence cannot speak from experience. I will therefore relate what I have learned from others who have been charged by this large spotted cat.
