    Switching Rifle Powders

    ➤ Having used Somchem powders for decades to handload for my hunting rifles, I now struggle to find S335 and S365. I am considering switching to Vihtavuori, IMR or Norma. I presume these imported powders are all of high quality. The question is whether I can make this switch without extensive load development. I do not have access to Quick Load. – Janco du Plessis, Free State

    Somchem propellants has forced many handloaders to switch to alternative powders, since Rheinmetall Denel reckons their production will only be back on track sometime during 2020. has tested Vihtavuori andMarch 2019 and June 2019) so I decided to switch to Vihtavuori as I could obtain some at my local dealer.
