MINOR MIRACLE

During December 1960, sales of the Morris Minor hit the 1,000,000 mark. The Minor was the first British car ever to attain this motoring milestone and to celebrate, BMC created a special edition: the lilac-hued Minor Million. But I digress, if only slightly! The feature car is a Rose Taupe 1965 Minor 1000, which is obviously not a Minor Million. However, it is well on the way to having covered a quarter of a million miles, the majority of which have been driven by its owner, Steve Chater.

Steve has actually owned and cared for this marvellous Minor for the best part of 51 years, which must be some kind of record. He’s cared for it exceptionally well
