Pleasant surprises on the Minor

Since my last article, I have finished tacking in both chassis legs on the front of the 1950 Lowlight Tourer and am now awaiting receipt of some new engine bay floors to enable me to weld up the whole front body assembly. Reassuringly, I offered up the original front panel of the car and it lines up well, showing that the car is still square and true. This was also confirmed by further measuring of key datum points after tacking the legs into place.
