Like getting man on the moon, curing certain illnesses, the realisation that quaffing excessive amounts of alcohol leads to miserable mornings after… and the creation of the automobile. Rashpal Singh, inhabitant of Ipoh in Malaysia, has both in spades. He is the most enthusiastically inquisitive man I have ever met. When he first contacted me he had been given a Mini, wanted to initially restore it, then modify it a little in terms of improving the suspension and brakes so that it looked great and drove really well.
