smoked fish, feta and phyllo pastry pie
Serves 4
I lived on the West Coast for 18 years and somehow I find it impossible not to include an easy and totally delicious smoked fish pie recipe to complete a book on meals! You can use smoked snoek, angelfish, mackerel, haddock or a combination of smoked fish for this recipe.
50ml melted butter OR use olive oil spray6 sheets phyllo pastry1 large onion, chopped10ml olive oilsalt and freshly ground black pepper to taste125g cheddar cheese, grated125g crumbled feta300g flaked smoked fish3 eggs200ml milk50ml fresh cream
