‘Add a tropical touch to any occasion with this cheery drink. When in season, I use fresh granadilla pulp, but out of season I use canned granadilla pulp. You can also replace the blueberries with any other type of berry.’
granadilla, pineapple and blueberry sparkler
Serves 6
250ml blueberries
6 long toothpicks
90ml granadilla pulp (fresh or canned)
600ml pineapple juice 30ml per serving blueberry vodka (see tip) or plain vodka
750ml dry sparkling wine
1 Skewer a few blueberries onto the toothpicks, then freeze. These will serve as the ‘ice’ to keep the drinks chilled.
2 Lightly crush the remaining blueberries and divide among 6 serving glasses.
To each glass add some granadilla pulp, pineapple juice
