Editor’s letter

For my Dad’s 70th birthday a few years ago we created a poster titled “70 Reasons Why We Love Ray”. It was made up of all the little moments over the years that had become Crawshaw family folklore. Like the time he pulling up someone from the audience to dance during the instrumental part and realising that without his glasses on he didn’t know if he was choosing a woman or a man. (To his credit, he pulled it off – waltzing them across the floor, much to the crowd’s delight.)
