U.G.L.Y. you ain’t got no alibi
Earlier this week, I had a nightmare that I lived in a colourless dystopia run by militant soldiers. I woke up, unsettled, to a text from a colleague who’d dreamt I showed up at work in Louis Vuitton’s limited-edition ‘Archlight’ sneakers. Visualising all $1600 worth of comically proportioned, aggressively designed, spacey, sporty street-style bait, a new wave of horror washed over me. Suddenly, dystopia didn’t seem so bad.
