What do you wear on a typical day? Head-to-toe Moochi. My outfits are usually a mix of current and wardrobe favourites, usually with trainers, sometimes leather boots in winter and slides in summer – never heels. I love an extra layer to take off as it warms up and to put back on later. I tend towards sports styling, as I find it suits the needs of the job more.

Do you have a go-to outfit for feeling powerful? I like clothes that hang off me rather than wrap around. In fashion, you never know when you will need to reach for a garment off a high rail, or sit on the floor to design a pair of shoes. It sounds silly but it can get quite action-packed and you need to be able to move and not worry about what may get exposed!

I will definitely consider if I have external meetings versus a day in fittings or design sessions. It may be my footwear that takes a step up and out of trainers for
