Allbirds’ sustainability manager is changing the face of thoughtful fashion, one reduced carbon footprint at a time.

Fashion has an image problem, and it’s more than skin deep. According to the United Nations, the industry generates 10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions – more than the aviation and shipping industries combined. It washes its hands of around 20 percent of wastewater, while 85 percent of post-consumer textile waste is sent to landfill or incinerated. So how will it clean up its act?
